Kayla and Dalton had the most beautiful intimate elopement with their family in at Maroon Bells in Aspen. And let me tell you. It was stunning! After doing some research, we saw that late September/early October would be the best time to see the gorgeous yellow Aspens in Colorado. Kayla and Dalton decided on making September 28th their forever date. We booked passes for Maroon Bells and made the trip official! I flew into Denver the day before the elopement and made my way to Aspen. I drove the Independence Pass and it was just mesmerizing. The bright yellow aspen trees blanketed the mountains and the weather was sunny and perfect! I got settled into my hotel, explored downtown and went out to eat the night of. I was surprised that Aspen wasn't super busy during the fall season, but I loved it! The morning of the elopement, I hung out at the cutest coffee shop to get some work done. I then met with Kayla in downtown so that I could capture her first look with Dalton. After the first look, we took some photos around the pretty buildings before heading off to Maroon Bells for their afternoon elopement. The views on the drive literally The Maroon Bells Scenic Trail was super accessible and the park was almost fully empty by the time we went in with our evening passes. It was perfect. Kayla and Dalton were married by Kayla's uncle with their families there to witness it. It was just so sweet. :) We took lots of portraits until the sun went down because allll of the angles were stunning. I'll be living through these photos for ages to come!
