Engagement Photos at The Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma
This shoot and venue feels like something off of a movie. The first thing you see when through the property is the stunning neighborhood unique homes sitting on jaw dropping and well manicured estates. This museum is truly breathtaking and has so much interesting history behind it. Philbrook has been open since 1939 and was once a historic home. The Villa lived through the twenties, a time I wish I could go back to. This home was built in a time of flapper girls, prohibition, and an oil boom in Tulsa. The design of the home is heavily inspired by the Italian renaissance style. This place just feels like a little piece of Italy. The gardens are stunning and add to the richness of the property. This place is perfect for any couples wanting the luxurious old money vibe for engagements.
This couple is a perfect example of all the old money vibes. We shot from 6-8, but I recommend shooting as early as possible after closing time as the sun sets quickly on the opposite side of the gardens & walking along the property adds up. Jordyn's first outfit of the day was a super cute ruffled dress with simple white heels. This outfit went perfect with the vibe of the venue. Quinn's first outfit was a classic and complemented hers perfectly. Jordyn's second outfit gave me all the heart eyes. Puffy sleeves, champagne, and pearls are in this year and I'm here for it. At dusk we got to take super fun flash photos popping the bubbly and I was in love with Jordyn's shoes. This couple brought the energy and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding at The Baumberhof outside of Oklahoma City.
