Colorful Late Summer Wedding at The Edgemont House in Little, Rock AR

This wedding was so beautiful to shoot & I am not sure if I'll ever get over it... I am obsessed with this couple, venue, and all the small details. The Edgemont House is located in a gorgeous neighborhood in North Little Rock. The house is Spanish inspired with many different breathtaking eclectic rooms. The property is so well manicured with many unique plants and flowers that created a beautiful background for photos. Each room was decorated so uniquely yet timeless, creating such cool vibes for the photos. The courtyard where the ceremony was held gave me such Mamma Mia vibes and I loved it! Not to mention the property has a famous cat that roams around. We got some celeb shots of course!

The getting ready portion of the day is when I got to capture some of my fav pics. The bride got ready in the primary bedroom, and let me tell you, these pics are STUNNING. The large arched windows in the bedroom created such elegant photos of the beautiful bride. All the bridesmaids wore matching timeless blue collared PJ sets and they were sooooo cute!!!!!! The bride was wearing Jeffrey Campbell white wedding heels that went with her dress perfectly. Also, HER DRESS, the sleeves, the veil, the neckline literally everything!! This dress is definitely setting some trends for this wedding season. The bridesmaid dresses were so different individually but meshed together perfectly. I loved the mix of blue and pink floral dresses from Show Me Your MuMu. The first look was a moment I'm so happy I got to capture. The garden created such fairytale moment for this couple and it was everything!!!!!

The Ceremony was small and intimate in the courtyard located in the middle of the home. A beautiful all white staircase leads into the courtyard which created for the PERFECT grand entrance location. There is tons of gorgeous greenery in the courtyard, which saves from having to bring in a ton of outside florals/decor. This venue saves couples so much money because there is hardly any blank space to fill. A win! All the stunning architecture of the house created so many photo opportunities. The courtyard only holds 75 guest so the bride and groom invited only their closest friends and family to the intimate ceremony. Afterwards, many others were invited to eat, party and celebrate the couple at the reception. This was such a smart idea for those who are struggling with a balance of intimacy and partying!

The Reception was sooooo much fun... they had a stunning tiered wedding cake, signature cocktails, and A TON of dancing. The couple did such a cute champagne toast and I was in love with their cake. They included a figurine of their dog on their cake which is so something everyone should do. They also had a super cute ice cream truck, Loblolly, with several unique custom flavors. This was such a well thought out detail! One of my favorite parts about this wedding was all that it allowed me to have fun shooting fun film photos of the details and guests. The 35mm film photos brought such vintage vibes to go with the eclectic venue. This is a super fun addition to my wedding collections that allows me to take more intentional and candid photos. The couple ended the night with a crazy streamer exit, instead of the traditional sparkler exit. This created such fun pictures and was such a unique way to end this perfect night!

This wedding was all about the DETAILS and it was stunning. I loved every single second of getting to let loose creatively at such a cool venue!!!! I would love to capture your big day and make it as special as this one. If you're looking to incorporate color & character into your day and want it authentically captured, let's chat!
